jam factor is out to conquer
a new venue... mary's place!
they have no idea what they're in for.
of course, our onslaught depends heavily on a good audience.
if you haven't heard my new
band, come give us a try this weekend.
a good showing in a new venue will help us get more good gigs,
so your support will be greatly appreciated!!
but really, this shouldn't
be a hard sell. i mean...
why would you voluntarily pass up an opportunity to call your friends
and have a rowdy evening of dancing and carrying on?
seriously....
we'll be playing BOTH friday
and saturday (oct 27-28)
from 8:30 til closing at mary's place - 1930 west o.
i've never been there, but i hear it's nice.
there are a few more pictures
added to the jam factor site...

Hello all! Just a quick reminder
(I've talked to most of you) about this
fabulous show I heard is coming to UNL. Yeah, it's called "The Way of the
World" and I hear this redhead sophomore in the cast is really hot. Just
kidding. "The Way of the World" is the UNL Acting MFA candidates'
thesis
show (also with a few undergrads in the cast), and I'd love to see every one
of you in the audience! Here's the info:
"The Way of the World"
by William Congreve
October 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26 (all shows 7:30pm)
Howell Theatre (Temple Building, 12 & R)
adults $12, students $8
FYI, it's a show about a 17th century society and how these few people deal
with wealth, deception, adultry, and revenge. It's a fabulous comedy we as
a cast have worked very hard to comprehend, explore, enjoy, and exquisitely
perform to the best of our abilities, and would be honored to have such fine
people as yourself in the audience at one point or another. Hugs and
kisses, hope to see you all soon!
Love,
~Brittany~

MEDIA RELEASE
Jekyll & Hyde the musical on stage in Nebraska
TADA Productions and R. Dinsmore
in cooperation with the Rococo Theatre,
KFOR 1240, KLKN-TV, The Tool House, Spencer Gifts, Ethan Allen and MTI
present the Midwest premiere of the musical Jekyll and Hyde! This gothic
thriller is on stage for two nights only October 27th & 28th at the Rococo
Theatre 134 N. 13th street in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Adapted from Robert Louis
Stevenson's 1886 novella "The Strange Case of Dr.
Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," Jekyll & Hyde tells the story of Dr. Henry Jekyll,
a
brilliant young doctor and research scientist who, distraught over his
father's mental illness, embarks upon a quest to isolate the dual elements
of good and evil that are constantly struggling for supremacy inside every
human being. However, when his experiment backfires, Jekyll inadvertently
gives life to Edward Hyde, his evil alter ego, a murderous being who will
let loose a reign of terror on the city of London and those who had
ridiculed Jekyll's research.
With music by Frank Wildhorn
(Civil War / The Scarlet Pimpernel) and Lyrics
by Leslie Bricusse (Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory / Victor Victoria),
this show features many of the most popular songs in theatre today, such as
This is the Moment, Someone Like You and Once Upon A Dream. Jekyll and Hyde
boasts an impressive cast selected from more than 50 who auditioned. Steven
C. Rich portrays the title character(s) with the female lead characters of
Emma and Lucy being portrayed by Amy Krivohlavek and Cris Rook.
Additional cast members include

Stenberg (Sir Danvers Carew), David Claus (Simon Stride), Kris Raasch
(Spider), Jim Kelley (Bishop of Basingstoke), Emily Rassch (Lady

are by Leann May-Burr, promotions assistance from Jay Kurtzer with Darlene
Berks overseeing the box office.
Jekyll & Hyde was originally
produced in 1990 at Houston's Tony
Award-winning Alley Theatre. An instantaneous success with audiences and
critics alike, it went on to break box office records, and its original run
was extended four times during that first summer. In 1995, the show was
remounted by Houston's Theater Under the Stars and Seattle's 5th Avenue
Theater. Adding to the show's momentum, stars such as Liza Minnelli and The
Moody Blues soon began to record songs from the show. Finally, on April 28,
1997, Jekyll & Hyde made its Broadway debut at the Plymouth Theatre. Another
resounding success, this production was nominated for 4 Tony Awards.
