Linda Adam-Hall and Paul
Pearson are featured performers in the University
of Nebraska-Lincoln Theatrix production of Howard Richardson and William
Berney's "Dark of the Moon," directed by Scott Raymond.
The play builds upon the
old ballad "Barbara Allen" as it presents a folk
tale about a human girl and the witch boy who risks everything to love her.
Each year, Theatrix offers a series of student-produced plays, providing
opportunities for collaboration between UNL students and other members of
the Lincoln theatrical community.
Performances run Thursday
through Saturday, September 26-28,
with shows at 7:30 p.m. Thursday; 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Friday;
and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. All shows will be at the
Studio Theatre, 3rd floor of the Temple Building, 12th and R Streets
Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.

Three sailors take New York
City by storm, determined to see all the sights
they can squeeze into a 24-hour leave. Join Chip (Gary Kubert), Gabey (Kevin
Alan Hunt) and Ozzie (Steven Rich) on their Big Apple adventure as they
explore "New York New York" from the Bronx (which is up) to the Battery
(down).

production of the musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.
This is a show that is absolutely appropriate for all ages. The show opens
this upcoming weekend and runs the following weekend as well. Performance

JOSEPH is a musical version
of the bible story of Joseph and the magnificent
coat of many colors. Joseph, favorite son of Jacob, is sold to an Egyptian
pharaoh by his jealous brothers. He uses his gift for prophecy to save the
country from famine. This gains him power, fortune, and the opportunity to
teach his brothers a lesson in forgiveness. The show is performed on a
brightly-colored playground setting that includes a teeter-totter, sandbox,
tire swing, monkey bars, fireman's pole, and rope bridge. Senior Luke T.
Jones performs the role of Joseph as his senior theatre project. Thirty
other NWU students perform in the show.
