THE POT SCRUBBERS, Lincoln's best old-time string band, appeared in their Zoo
Bar debut Sunday night, performing old-time fiddle tunes in the style of Gid
Tanner and other traditional bands. Tunes included "Soldier's Joy," "Cluck Old
Hen," and "Wind and Rain." To quote a local music critic, "The House indicated
tendencies of enthusiasm." THE POT SCRUBBERS next appearance will be Sunday
night, March 9 at the Zoo Bar, 8 pm, no cover charge.

local comedian juli burney will be performing at a benefit for
the pavilion & events center on
thursday march 7, 2002 at
the cornhusker grand ballroom.
the show (and a live auction) begins at 6pm.
admission is $15.
